Shaping the future together
A community thrives when many people participate. Every individual matters and everyone can contribute to a vibrant neighborhood. There are various ways to get involved in Wohlers Eichen and around.
Join in the debate and help decide - the neighborhood forum
The neighborhood forum offers an opportunity to contribute opinions. We meet about 6 times a year to discuss current issues. Every fall, we plan the topics for the next year together. Everyone who lives or works in the area is invited.
Residents know their neighborhood best
They know where practical support and money for projects are needed. Their experience and knowledge are important for development in the neighborhood.
We decide together
Decisions are made here together with those responsible in the neighborhood. We vote on proposals together, and consensus is essential. Everyone in the forum must agree with the decisions. Only then will the projects be officially initiated.
The meetings always take place on a Tuesday afternoon. The dates can be found in the calendar of events.
Get active with the help of the residents fund
We support small campaigns or purchases. Funding can be provided for anything that improves living together and the community. These can include street festivals, planting initiatives or excursions. Certain purchases can also be covered, such as a new bench or kitchen equipment for a cooking group.
The activity must be publicly accessible to all
The activity must provide significant benefits to the community
The activity cannot exceed a cost of 1,500 euros
Unfortunately, food and beverages cannot be funded
For ideas and questions, you can contact the neighborhood management.
Do it yourself as a Volunteer
Do you want to get involved in your neighborhood as a volunteer? Are you eager to contribute your time and ideas simply for the joy of it? Neighbors who wish to engage are very welcome!
Do you need help, materials or a room for a meeting?
Then contact the neighborhood management directly. Your point of contact is Bärbel Froemel. She can be reached via email at baerbel.froemel@afsd.bremen.de or by phone at 0421-830 615 962.
